Is Toledo worth visiting?

I think so. Toledo is the city of Spanish history. It was the capital of Spain from the 5th to the 15th century. I would say Toledo is a must see place in Spain.

When I was there, I did a walking tour. The first place we went was to the cathedral. I love cathedrals and it was a beautiful cathedral. It was the first gothic cathedral built in Spain. I was impressed with the stained glass windows and the architecture. I think it was my favorite part of the tour.

We also went to a synagogue which was converted to a museum. It was a Jewish synagogue that was built in the 12th century. The most interesting thing I learned from the tour was that Jews, Muslims and Christians all lived together in peace. The museum had an example of how the three religions were combined.

The last stop was a visit to the Church of Santo Tome. It was a church that was built in the 13th century. The most famous painting in the church is The Burial of the Count of Orgaz by El Greco. It depicts the burial of Don Gonzalo Ruíz who was a knight and the main benefactor of the church. It is a beautiful church and the painting is amazing.

Toledo is a picturesque city. It is a hilltop city with the Tagus River running through it. The river valley is beautiful and the city is a fortress with a spectacular view. It is a great place to visit.
